This two-day course will offer participants in-depth learning in the study of child and adolescent psychological problems within the context of human development. Along with gaining knowledge of normal graphic, cognitive, affective, social, interpersonal and neurobiological development, the course will cover the relationship between development and high-risk and disordered populations.

Objectives: Attendees will be able to:

  • describe the course of normal graphic, cognitive, affective, interpersonal and neurobiological development,

  • describe the risk and protective factors in the environment that affect development, and

  • describe the causes and determinants in development that may result in aberrant behavior and psychological disorders

Workshop fees: Workshop fees are $160 per day, and include all handouts, art supplies, lunch, and morning and afternoon snacks.  CE Credits are available for an additional $25, our direct cost.
